The Difference a Frame Makes

The Difference a Frame Makes
Remember Stephen's print that won free framing at the Pine Crest School Art Show that we had a while back at THE FRAME STUDIO and Little's Photography? Stephen came in and picked out framing for his own art.  We were very impressed by his vision on just what he wanted.  He chose to combine two colors of the same frame with a wide white mat to give the art some space to breathe.  It was finished using Museum Glass to deal with glare.  And look at how it turned out! We were excited to custom frame his special artwork at THE FRAME STUDIO, and hope this helps inspire him to keep creating...

Night at the Studio – Pine Crest Art Show

Night at the Studio – Pine Crest Art Show
Jelty here... THE FRAME STUDIO and Little's Photography recently had a great "Night at the Studio" with artists from Pine Crest School.  We had a packed house and a lot of fun as children from kindergarten through twelfth grade came in with their families to see their art displayed in our gallery space. It was really quite amazing to see not just the talent, but the aliveness that art brings.  One student, Nicole Maharaj, won the popular vote and received a complimentary custom frame for the boy with the bubble pictured here.  We can not wait to show the world what a difference a b...

The Little Tow Boat That Could

The Little Tow Boat That Could
Kim, is a frequent and favorite client of Little's Photography. She has done underwater shoots with her children and had them framed at The Frame Studio. She recently brought in a sentimental piece for framing. It was an old poem with drawings that her mother-in-law found in an old book. The poem was written by Kim's husband Jim when he was little. Jimmy's teacher had asked he and his classmates to write about something they were interested in; he chose to write about tow boats. He even illustrated his writing with a nice little drawing of a tow boat. Now fast forward to today, and Jim owns hi...

Little Framers

Little Framers
As you know, Christmas is just a few days away!  Here at the Frame Studio our little elves have been very busy working to make sure everyone has their gifts for the holidays. With a portrait studio and a fine custom frame shop side by side, our clients enjoy being able to complete their projects from start to finish without having to decide where to shop. Sabrina, a portrait client, has been wanting her family portrait on her mantel for a very long time. She had a fantastic time laughing and playing with her entire family during their photo session. [gallery link="file"] Not only did her...

Mr. Baseball

Jordan is an "All Star" who loves to pitch.  He showed us the knuckle ball, the fast ball, the fork... and a bunch more that I can't remember.  He is Autumn's 12 year old brother and this is his name frame. The fun parts of this name frame are hard to tell from this picture.  His favorite was the bat up the lond side of the "d" and the way the baseballs around the egde were spinning like it had been pitched.  In hind sight, we all agreed that a navy blue frame may have been a better choice because he is a Yankee's fan.  We may change that, we'll s...
